Behaviour that is difficult to live with
When a cat’s behaviour is affecting them or the people at home.
Online cat behaviour consultations
I help with all kinds of questions about cat behaviour — gently, using Cat Friendly and Fear Free approaches, with a plan for your family.

I work with all kinds of questions about cat behaviour and everyday life. Below are examples of common concerns. If none matches your situation, describe it in your own words.
When a cat’s behaviour is affecting them or the people at home.
When you are concerned about your cat’s relationships with other animals at home.
We can discuss space, play and everyday situations, even when there is no obvious problem.
You do not have to wait for a problem: we can prepare your cat and their environment for major changes.

Two cats may do the same thing for completely different reasons. That is why I will not offer a one-size-fits-all answer: first, we need to understand what is happening for your particular cat.
I work using Cat Friendly and Fear Free approaches: I consider your cat’s comfort, signals and agency (the ability to choose). There is no punishment or shaming in our work: we look for gentle, realistic steps for you and your family.
I gather context, consider different possible causes and revise my hypothesis when new facts and observations emerge. If behaviour may be connected to health, we discuss when it is important to involve a vet.
We are not looking for someone to blame — among people or cats. We explore the reasons and choose together what we can change.
Start with a short message. You do not need to understand the reasons for the behaviour or know which consultation you need beforehand.
Write to me on Telegram or by email. You can prepare a message draft on this website, open it in your app and send it yourself. You do not need to choose a service beforehand: I will help you find the best format for your situation. I reply to new enquiries within 2 working days (Monday–Friday).
We meet online for 60–120 minutes. Your personalised recommendations follow within 3 working days.
Standard includes 14 calendar days of support from delivery of the plan and 1 follow-up up to 45 minutes.
The fee covers more than video meetings: it includes preparation using your materials, written recommendations and the agreed support. The format depends on your concern, and we discuss all the conditions before payment. In many cases, it helps to go beyond an initial consultation: ongoing support and at least one follow-up help us assess progress, consolidate changes and adjust the plan if necessary.
Every initial consultation includes reviewing the agreed materials, an in-depth online meeting, discussing possible explanations and preparing a written action plan.

My name is Katie. I’m a zoopsychologist specialising in cat behaviour. My knowledge, experience and deep love of animals help me see the world through a cat’s eyes. I will help you do the same.
More about meAfter your booking is confirmed, I will send a short questionnaire in a format we agree on — along with guidance on the photos and videos we may need before the video call. We agree in advance on how to share materials. Please send the questionnaire and other materials as early as possible to allow time for analysis and preparation, and no later than 24 hours before the video call.
Not always. But if your cat’s behaviour has changed suddenly (even if stress seems to be the cause), or you notice changes in appetite, litter-box use, activity or general wellbeing, pain or other health problems may be involved. In that case, it is important to contact a vet as soon as possible, without waiting for a consultation with me. I do not make medical diagnoses or prescribe treatment.
